When we had to come up with our own way of setting the poem up I had so many ideas. We couldn't decide which one to pick. So I went with this one: It is made up of two quatrains. The third letter in each word starts the following word and so on. Each quatrain alternates:first quatrain: 4 words3 words2 words1 wordsecond quatrain: 1 word2 words3 words4 words.
My own poem I came up with:
Turquoise raises sea above.
Out towards waves
Vast sea
Achieved.
Horizon.
Reactions astonished.
Tomorrow make believe kalology.
Lingering, glowing, outstanding scenery.
(Kalology means the study of beauty.)

My words: pumpkin, blogger, for, humble
After reading the picture that talked about having an "F" student write their speech, i could totally relate. Whenever i had to do a project in school that had to be creative, i would always go to my so called "F" student friends. They are very creative, bu tthey just dont feel the need to try hard at school. They can always help me come up with something creative and witty, and something that my peers would want to hear about. Creativity is not one of my best characterisitcs, but i do have plenty of resources. Some of my best presentations I can credit to my "F" student friends. I dont know what i would have done without the help of them, but i thank them tons for all their help.

Haiku
Snowmen built
Everything becomes white
All is well.
This haiku is very simple, but yet it is the three things that I see happen every year. Where I from we dont get much snow in our actual town, but the towns that surround us are full of it. Because of this fact, we have to travel to do anything in the snow, and if your traveling to play in the snow obviously you are going to be with other people who enjoy snow and all is well. As for the snowmen, who doesn't look at snow and either automatically thing of snowmen or want to make one. I like the winter and the festivities it brings.

Dr. Seuss Parody/Satire
Hill Billy Stu
And little Molly Sue
Sat on a bench
With nothing to do.
Together they sat
And together they stared
When all of a sudden
They soon became scared.
The day was silent
With not a single sound
When without warning
There came a lound pound.
Mr. Stu and Ms. Sue
Looked around without a clue
When out of the bushes
Cameld a figure untrue.
With a sniff of the air
Nothing could compare
Molly Sue was sure
That she smelled cat hair.
Out came the cat
The cat in the hat
Billy Stu became scared
And stood tall with a bat.
So now there's a cat
A cat and a bat
But this cat was not normal
No, a cat with a hat.
This cat was not average
But quite large instead
He stood quite tall
They stood head to head.
This cat had ideas
And plans for the day
But the kids said no
No way Jose.
The cat talked of mischief
And badonking their bums
The kids knew no one would believe them
Not some but none.
The kids read before
Of what the cat had in store
The couldn't do what he wanted
So they said no more.
The cat packed up his things
Including his bling
And left the kids behind
With not a thing.
The kids sighed in relief
For they knew what was to come
So they continued to sit
On the bench on their bums.
And little Molly Sue
Sat on a bench
With nothing to do.
Together they sat
And together they stared

Tying the Knot
After reading this the first time in class I was very confused. I was very unsure of what the writer was trying to get across, so I read the poem again. After doing so, it became a little more clear to me. I think this poem is about two people and a relationship they share. This poem read to me as it was about a women and a man that didnt quite realize what they had, until it was tested by an accident. I'm not sure what the accident was, but something happened to one of them and they were hurt severely. When this person was hurt and in the hospital, the other was by their side through it all. They were the shoulder for the other to cry on and their support system through their hard time. After this event occured they realized how much they cared for eachother and a knot was tied; a knot that can never be broken.
